Neon Drift Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

Neon Drift is a mobile arcade game by Cour, available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or used when you play Neon Drift on either platform.

Data Stored On Your Device

Neon Drift saves game progress locally on your device, including high scores, coins, unlocked items, achievements, settings, and (on Android) your personal score history. This data stays on your device unless you delete the app or clear app data. Cour does not operate a Neon Drift account system.

iOS — Game Center

On iOS, if you sign in to Apple Game Center, your display name, leaderboard scores, and achievements are handled by Apple according to Apple's privacy policy. Game Center is optional.

iOS — Advertising (Google AdMob)

On iOS, Neon Drift may show optional rewarded video ads via Google AdMob (for example, an optional revive after game over). Google may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's privacy policy.

On iOS 14+, the app may request permission to track activity across apps for personalized ads (App Tracking Transparency). You can decline and still play; ad relevance may be reduced.

Android — Personal Scores

On Android, the in-app Scores board is personal and local to your device. Scores are not uploaded to Cour servers. The current Android build does not require Google Play Games sign-in for scores or achievements.

Android — Advertising And Play Games

On Android, Neon Drift may show optional rewarded video ads via Google AdMob (for example, an optional revive after game over). Google may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's privacy policy. Watching an ad is optional; you can decline and still play.

If a future Android update enables Google Play Games for cloud leaderboards or achievements, related player profile and score data would be handled by Google according to Google's privacy policy. That sign-in would be optional.

Permissions

Android may use vibration for optional haptic feedback. Internet access is used for optional rewarded ads and platform services. You do not need to create a Cour account to play.

Consent, Privacy Choices, And Withdrawal

Where required by law, we ask for your advertising and tracking privacy choices before requesting personalized ads.

You can withdraw advertising or tracking consent at any time by declining App Tracking Transparency prompts, updating options in the app's settings (where available), resetting your advertising identifier in iOS Settings, or changing privacy settings for Apple services you use.

You can also email team@cour.software to ask how to withdraw consent or exercise privacy rights available in your region.

Data Retention And Deletion

Local gameplay, preference, and progress data for Neon Drift is retained on your device until you clear it or delete the app.

You can delete local data by deleting Neon Drift from your device. If you use optional Apple services (such as Game Center or Apple Music), you can manage or delete related data through your Apple ID and the relevant Apple product settings.

To request deletion of any personal information Cour may hold about you in connection with Neon Drift, email team@cour.software with your request. We will respond within a reasonable time and delete or anonymize information we control, except where we must retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Advertising data collected by Google AdMob (iOS and Android) is retained according to Google's policies. You can limit ad tracking in device Settings.

On Android, personal scores and other local progress remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall Neon Drift.

Children

Neon Drift is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-Party Services

Depending on platform and version, Neon Drift may use the following third-party services:

When Cour uses a third-party service that processes data in connection with a product (for example Apple frameworks or Google AdMob), Cour requires that those providers protect user data with protections that are the same as, or equal to, the protections described in this policy and required by Apple's App Review Guidelines.

  • Apple Game Center (iOS) for optional leaderboards and achievements.
  • Google AdMob (iOS and Android) for optional rewarded advertising.
  • Google Play Games (Android, optional / future) for cloud leaderboards or achievements if enabled.

Changes To This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
