How do I play Starhook?

Starhook is simple to learn: Your orb orbits around a planet like a moon. Tap the screen to launch your orb and hook to the next planet. Time your taps carefully to avoid flying off into space! Each successful planet increases your score and the difficulty ramps up.

What are achievements?

Achievements are badges you unlock by reaching milestones in Starhook. Examples include reaching certain score thresholds, hooking to consecutive planets, or reaching specific distances. Check your achievements to see what challenges await!

Is the game free?

Yes! Starhook is completely free to play. The game features ads to support development, but you can enjoy unlimited gameplay without paying.

How do I disable ads or remove them?

Starhook displays ads to support development. While we don't currently offer an ad-free version, we work hard to keep ads non-intrusive. You can disable personalized ads in your device settings under Privacy/Google settings.

Why did I lose all my progress?

Your progress is saved locally on your device. If you uninstall and reinstall the app, or clear your device storage, your progress may be lost. We recommend:

Does Starhook require internet?

Starhook works offline! You don't need an internet connection to play. However, ads and some features may require a brief connection. The game will work perfectly fine without WiFi once installed.

Is Starhook available on Android and iOS?

Starhook is available on iOS. Android versions may be coming in the future. Follow us for updates on platform availability.

Why is the game lagging or crashing?

Try these solutions:
  • Close other running apps and free up RAM
  • Restart your device
  • Update Starhook to the latest version
  • Ensure you have enough free storage space
  • Clear app cache (Settings → Apps → Starhook → Storage → Clear Cache)
  • Reinstall the app if issues persist
